The truce between Elon Musk and president Donald Trump didn’t even last a month.
The resumption of fighting marks the end of a brittle truce between the warring parties that allowed for the release of 110 Israeli women and children, as well as foreign nationals, who had been taken hostage by Ḥamās during its October 7 attack, and for the release of about 240 Palestinian prisoners from Israeli gaols.
But the Burmese army began a new offensive last month, after a 17‐year truce with the rebels ended in mid‐2011.
Military operations will be paused during the truce, according to Russian authorities, as world leaders, including China’s Xí Jìnpíng, Brazil’s Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Serbia’s Aleksandar Vučić and Slovakia’s Robert Fico, are expected in Moscow.
