PHP example: string strtolower(string)

$x = 'COMPUTER'; echo "Conversion of '$x' to '" . strtolower($x) . "'.\n"; // Note that the range of uppercase letters that can be converted to lowercase, is limited by the current locale. // Use mb_strtoupper() or mb_convert_case() if you need to be able to convert all lowercase letters in the Unicode set. // Note also that strtolower() may have been re-defined as an alias of mb_strtolower() by setting the value of // mbstring.func_overload in php.ini.
